Club Golf Events…
Pinewild Country Club of Pinehurst is a very active club with respect to member golf tournaments. Member events are conducted throughout the year, which result in approximately twenty days of established competitive golf. The Club events are in addition to the numerous events hosted by the various golf associations.
Men’s Golf Association…
The PMGA is an organized group of male golfers which plans and organizes weekly events for members of the association. Sign-up is available online weekly.
Women’s Golf Associations…
The PWGA is an organized group of lady golfers which plans and organizes weekly golf events for members of the association. In addition, a Pinewild Azalea League group meets weekly to play the Azalea golf course. Sign-up sheets are posted in the locker rooms or online weekly.
Twilight Golf and Par Chasers…
Twilight Golf and Par Chaser Events are held on separate Sunday afternoons through the year. These events are available for both men and women. Twilight Golf, the more “social golf” of the two, is a nine-hole shotgun (playing on the Magnolia or Holly course) followed by dinner and prizes. Par Chasers is an eighteen-hole tee time start (playing on the Magnolia or Holly course) followed by dinner and prizes. Dates are announced in the calendar of events.
Tennis and Swimming…
Our Tennis and Swimming facility is available throughout the day. Hours of operation for the pool are 8:00 a.m. until one-half hour before dark during the pool season (normally mid May through early October). Members and accompanied pool guests may swim at no charge. The four Har-Tru Tennis courts are available from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. There is an active Tennis group, which conducts organized play, and some interclub league matches throughout the season. Members and Guests must register in the Golf Shop, with Members enjoying the courts at no cost, with guest fees being $15.00 per day.
Other Social Events…
Numerous social events are conducted throughout the year. Typically these include outdoor events which are held at the driving range or around the clubhouse, as well as indoor events. In addition, various theme dinners and food and beverage functions are held several times a month in the clubhouse. Additionally, events for children are held on various dates, including Lunch with Santa, an Easter Egg Hunt, Movie Night and much more…we refer to these as KidzWild. More information on all Club events can be found in the calendar or on the website. Pinewild hosts a wide variety of specialized Clubs which focus on activities and hobbies other than just golf. Some include Wood Workers, Artists, Duplicate Bridge, Garden Club, Water Aerobics…and much more.

Pinewild Country Club of Pinehurst maintains a website for all members and guests wishing to learn more about the facilities. The membership has a “special” area within the website which offers tee times for league play, updates on current news and events within the Club, the option to book tee times via the internet 24/7, as well as the ability to post scores for handicap purposes. All major club events results are posted in this area as well. The website serves as an avenue to convey important information to the members, as well as explain and showcase our development to guests wishing to find out more about Pinewild Country Club of Pinehurst.
